We needed financial reporting and audit, budgeting, and consolidation across our Mexican and European companies. FastClose’s hierarchy engine was key, as it allowed us to group any segment of our chart of accounts into structures and easily build our P&L and balance sheet. From there, financial reports flowed naturally, and we used them as templates to enter budgets, uploading data through FastClose’s Excel Add-In into the budget tables. The critical benefit was real-time access: FastClose reads directly from our Epicor data, so we no longer have to move ERP data into another database. We could then drill down not just to GL transactions but across other Epicor modules for a complete audit trail.

“The icing on the cake was FastClose’s standard consolidation solution. Once we set up the hierarchies, we simply added the currencies and companies that needed to be consolidated and built out the eliminations. In no time, we had a complete system — all achieved during the free trial.”
